A great school that always get a 99 or 100 NSW school ranking. When it comes to education, a friend whose son attends the *selective* North Sydney Boys High School told me his son's grade had 50 kids coming from Hurstville Public School. But they don't just stop there, they also encourage kids to do more activities. Several projects suitable to each grade, and dance / music / swimming classes, and weekly presentations in the class, daily home reading books, great stuff! The staff is generally friendly and very reasonable. Firm just-enough with the kids, so that the atmosphere is not chaotic and also not fearsome. My son loves to the school. They also conveniently have a good before and after school care centre (run separately, but located inside the school area), which is also pretty good (also offers vacation care).
